Sketchbook

B-Movies

Grew up watching lots of them.. plus many horror films...! Next comics projects will hopefully be horror stuff...the COTG projects plus a couple more. Here is a sketch with lots of bad taste (to quote the early Peter Jackson film Bad Taste that I love) ...

The Importance Of Work

So frustrated today... I wanna do so many things and life is so little time...
Also tired of people whining and not trying...

Most people don t even know what to do with their lives ...and it s strange because life is a gift!
Can 't stand people blaming the society...blaming their relatives... with beliefs that everybody owes them... no way... no one owes you anything... you have to be glad you live... glad you live this weird little dream we call life!

I 'm so confused today and I really hope these rows of words will wake me up too because I know what a bless is to live!:  )

And again...I want to do so many things and I don t think I did little efforts until now...

I still live in the place I was born and grew up... I publish my weird books with my weird art... I did everything I dreamt up. And damn I continue! .... and of course I won't stop...

Is it realistic art...is it cartoony art...is it comics pages or canvas work.... I will keep the ride...

...and always remind to myself how much important my work is for me...

I don' t remember when I did the sketch here... probably around 2012 when I was illustrating the first Augusta Wind book... but star gazing is something I love and always gives me hope....

She Is In Fashion

This was an interesting experimentation with markers and acrylics...that lead to painted approached that I used in many illustrations and now to painted comics pages... even my intention for the second Augusta Wind was to become a painted book... will share some unpublished stuff next...

Concept Art

The Bigger Bang concept art. This series was kind of a hit for  D.j. Kirkbrideand me... and was so much fun to draw besides the stress! I finished the first series in a period of four or five months... and I m so glad people responded to our experimental narration and artwork...
